This passive ventilation envelope system was designed for use in mild desert climates such as Los Angeles. Because the average year temperature high is 78 degrees, a passive ventilation system allows the air to flow through the building, creating a comfortable breeze for much of the year. The system will have to be supplemented during the hottest time of the year, August through October, with additional cooling and ventilation.

The glass is moveable and can adjust to the occupants needs throughout the day and can be closed closed completely if the temperature drops below a comfortable level.
